CLOTHING CARE GUIDE

Make your custom pieces last as long as you do

Your Care Guide: FAQ

WOOL

Suits, slacks, vest, jackets, sweaters that are made out of these fabrics are very durable fabric and with that means the maintenance is low. Dry cleaning your suits every time you wear them is a huge no! The chemicals when you dry clean break down the fibers of the suit and will destroy your suit over time. Once or twice a year is as much as you need to take it. In between those times make sure to hang it and let it air dry either outside or in your laundry room. If you happen to get a stain, then try to spot clean it with a low chemical soap.

SHIRTS

The huge misconception for taking your cotton shirts to the dry cleaner is that they are dry cleaning it. They are actually laundering your shirts like you are able to do at home. Again the chemicals of the dry cleaning would destroy your cotton dress shirts. Dry cleaning is a convenience for your dress shirts. If you must take them to the cleaners  to have them laundered. Then have them washed in cold water, dried on low heat and ironed on the cotton temperature setting.

BUTTONS

When wearing a suit or shirt there is always a chance for buttons to get caught on something or break. Normal wear and tear button threads will stretch and or fall off after time. Contact us and we will get the buttons fixed. If you don’t have the button to sew back and the button is out of stock in our inventory we can replace all the buttons for a small fee.

WEAR & TEAR

Other than shirts, your garments will last as long as you give them proper care. That being said, just like anything else, there will be maintenance to them after a while. Threading will stretch and create holes on the seam of the clothing. Just contact us and we will get them altered for you. Note there’s a possibility of a small fee. This is a case by case situation.
